Hello,
Your vehicle releases the charging connector at the end of the charging session:
- End the charging session by following the on-screen instructions; you will be asked to swipe your badge or credit card again to finalize the session
- The vehicle should then release the charging connector
If the vehicle does not release the charging connector:
- Depending on the vehicle, the connector may not release immediately; it may take several seconds.
- If your cable has not been released after about ten seconds, you can try the following steps:
- Unlock the charging port from the vehicle’s dashboard
- Unlock it using the release button next to the charging port in your vehicle or using your vehicle’s key
- On some vehicles, the connector's locking mechanism may be sensitive:
Stand facing the connector and hold it pressed against the vehicle
Unlock your vehicle with your key or release button and listen carefully for the locking mechanism
As soon as you hear the mechanism, remove the connector
If these steps have not released the connector:
- Do not press the station’s emergency stop button (unless there is immediate danger)
- Contact Dream Energy support at 01 30 71 20 20
- It is possible that this is a vehicle communication error; in that case, we recommend contacting your vehicle’s customer support, who can guide you on how to release the connector—for example, by using the emergency pull tab or through other steps.
We hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
